Some of our sarees are made to order, crafted especially for you after your purchase. This ensures freshness, quality and minimal waste.

How long does a pre-order take?

Pre-order sarees are dispatched within 30–45 working days from the date of order confirmation.

• 14–16 Step Handmade Process
Each saree is created through a detailed sequence of washing, dyeing, drying, and hand block printing, repeated multiple times to build depth and richness.

• Natural Dyeing Takes Time
Ajrakh uses natural dyes like indigo and madder, which require careful preparation, soaking, and sun-drying to achieve their signature tones.

• Precision Hand Block Printing
Every motif is printed by hand using carved wooden blocks. Even a slight misalignment means starting over and precision cannot be rushed.

• Multiple Drying Cycles
After each stage, the fabric must be dried naturally under the sun, making the process dependent on weather and ensuring authenticity.

• Crafted by Artisans, Not Machines
Each saree is individually made by skilled craftsmen, not produced in bulk which makes every piece unique.

This is why your saree takes 30–45 days — because true craftsmanship cannot be rushed.

Will I be notified when my pre-order is dispatched?

Yes. You will receive a dispatch confirmation with tracking details via email and WhatsApp.

Shipping

How long does standard delivery take?

In-stock sarees are dispatched within 2–4 working days. Delivery typically takes an additional 3–5 working days depending on your location.

Do you ship across India?

Yes, we ship pan-India. International shipping is available, please contact us on WhatsApp for rates and timelines.

How can I track my order?

Once dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email. You will also be notified on WhatsApp with real-time updates.

Customisation

Can I customise a saree?

Yes. We offer customisation including personal saree designs, blouse guidance, colour preferences and styling guidance. Reach out to us on WhatsApp to discuss your requirements.

How do I place a customisation request?

Simply message us on WhatsApp with the saree you are interested in and your customisation details. We will guide you through the process and confirm timelines.

Is there an additional charge for customisation?

For now, we offer free customisation if you purchase a saree.  

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 3 days of delivery for items that are unused, unwashed and in original condition. Pre-order and customised sarees are non-returnable.

How do I initiate a return?

Contact us on WhatsApp or email us at therangbhoomi@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. We will guide you through the next steps.

Saree Care

How should I care for my saree?

We recommend dry cleaning for all sarees to maintain the fabric and craftsmanship over time. 

How should I store my saree?

Store your saree folded in a muslin cloth in a cool, dry place. Avoid plastic covers as they can trap moisture and affect the fabric over time.
